Narrative
It follows a Mexican-American family who have recently lost touch with each other and their roots as they embark on an epic journey that quickly goes hilariously wrong. George Lopez was originally set to play Gil and then Alejandro, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts and was replaced by Cheech Marin and Alexander Alayon Jr., respectively.
